A new discovery on mangafox! Fujikawa Yura has published a Radiata Stories manga in Japan. Currently, there are five issues that run a two series manga called "The Epic of Jack" and "The Song of Ridley." Mangafox has only translated and published up to the first chapter in the third volume of "The Epic of Jack." The manga gives more insight into Jack's past and also makes him seem a lot less rude than the game. Adele seems to play a larger role in the game as well as there are flashbacks between Jack and his sister throughout the manga. The story focuses on the valiance of a knight rather than just being the best and gives Jack a more solid reason as to why he's doing his best. Also, there's a deeper, more romantic relationship between Jack and Ridley in the first few chapters than in the game while keeping with the consistant rivalry between the two.

Other main characters have their entrances as well rather than just jumping into the storyline. Overall, the art is very well done with professionalism. The manga keeps to the games appearance when it comes to settings as the art is crafted directly after the scenery seen in the game, making it appear that the author is no novice and has played this game before.

Like noted earlier, Jack's haughtiness is toned down quite a bit. He's less obnoxious and far more, well, likable, for lack of other words. He still has his silly catch phrases that are about a century old, but overall, it's definitely the same Jack. Ridley still maintains her prideful attitude towards the entire Rose Cochon. Ganz keeps with his canan of benevolence and optimism.
