The Ocho region is one of the thirteen regions that surround Radiata City, although it is not directly connected to Radiata. The Ocho region is connected to the Adien region in the north-east and the Desneuf region in the south-west. There is a Dwarf Tunnel that lets out to the north of the region and in the later game, after the split, that tunnel attaches to Earth Valley.
Items that can be found in this region are an Herb Extract, a Heating Tablet, a Recovery Pills (called a Recovery Ball on the map), a Snow Powder, a Life Berry, Cure Drop and a Mass of Enmity.
There's a dead-end path to the east that the Tsuchinoko, an extremely rare and much sought-after monster, will appear in when it is in this region.
