- "Geniuses don't lie."
- —Genius Weissheit
Genius Weissheit is the second son of the Weissheit family of technicians. He is renowned for becoming a professor at the Vareth Institute at the young age of 15. He did much research below Radiata in a secret chamber which Jack Russell stumbled upon while on a mission investigating noise complaints from many citizens in the Human Path. Jack discovers that the sounds themselves were caused by Genius's experiments. He told Jack about how, through the use of ancient murals, he discovered that the end of humanity, and the world itself, was approaching. In the Non-Human path, Genius is seen in the secret chamber shortly after the surprise attack lead by Cross, talking to himself, however he says the same thing he says to Jack saying it may be too late for Humans
His younger sister, Leona Weissheit, is also in the Vareth Magic Institute. who bumps into Jack shortly after he joins Vancoor.
Genius is a hard-working genius and the second son of the Weissheit family technicians. When he was seven, he broke the record for the youngest child to enter Vareth Magic Institute. He cannot help but continuously correct other people's misapprehensions. His hover disk transportation device is called a Rouquiche.

- Genius's techniques greatly resemble elf magic due to his research in light and dark elves.
- Genius' appearance and personality resembles Lezard Valeth from the Valkyrie Profile series.
- Althought his surname is spelled "Weissheit" in the game, it is very likely that it was meant to be spelled "Weisheit" as the latter, in German, means "wisdom" and the former means "whiteness". "Genius Weisheit" (aka "Genius Wisdom") makes a little more sense to hint at his personality than "Genius Weissheit" (aka Genius Whiteness") does.
