Petrify is one of the possible afflictions to be caught in Radiata Stories. When petrified, you will become immobile. When someone is petrified, they will freeze as they were when they were hit. They turn to a golden colour with some green appearing around their feet.
You can free yourself from petrification by wiggling the left analog stick or by mashing buttons. It will end after 30 seconds no matter what you do.
Curing and Preventing Petrify[]
Flexability Lotions, Sage and Cleansing Stones will cure petrified allies. Invincibility Medicine can protect you against petrify for 60 seconds.
Skill-wise, Prevent Petrify is good if you're about to face an opponent you know is good with petrify, such as a black goblin. Stop Afflictions or Status Cure is better if you're uncertain or about to face an opponent that inflicts multiple afflictions.
The armors Absolute Guard, Robot Suit and Demon Mail resist all afflictions, including petrify. The Divine Coat resists only petrify and freeze.
Inflicting Petrify[]
Cement Powder is the only item capable of inflicting petrify, but the following weapons have a chance of leaving an enemy with it: Basilisktos, Rune Saber, Ancient Axe and Medusa Spear.
The skill Bad Carrier will randomly inflict an ailment on your opponent, including petrify.
